I became a travel agent in 1984, at Effingham Travel when we were still located at the mall..I have a bachelors degree in business and merchandising so travel didn't have a lot to do with my degree but thought it would be an interesting field! I loved it of course, and in 1986 my husband Darrell and I became partners in the business with our good friends Debbie and Hank Stephens...they have since left the travel industry but we remain close friends...I have worked in the front office as well as taking care of all the administrative and management duties..I have been lucky to travel to many lovely places over the years including: Cancun, Puerta Vallarta, Hualtulco, Cabo San Lucas, Ixtapa, Jamaica, St.Lucia, St. Thomas, St.Martin, San Juan, Punta Cana, several cruises, Disney, Tampa, Colorado, California, London, Paris, Madrid, and Italy and many more! I enjoy visiting places that we can confidently recommend to our clients...

Donna has been in the travel business for over 35 years, 22 years with our agency. She specializes in Disney being a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and has traveled to Disneyworld 18 times, Disneyland 3 times and has taken a Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream ship. She has also traveled to Jamaica to renew her wedding vows and has the experience of what a destination bride and groom will go thru when they are there. In 2005, she was awarded seven complimentary nights on the island of Maui. And, traveled over to Pearl Harbor to see the museum and the ship the Arizona. Her newest destination she traveled was the panhandle of florida to check out condos that we book for our multi generational type family getaways. After selling those for several years, she was very happy to be able to say she has been there and seen them first hand . She has also been to Branson and Gatlingburg where we sell Cabins for honeymooners that want a romantic honeymoon in the states. Her weekend trips to Chicago and staying at the Congress, and French Lick Indiana to stay at the West Baden Springs hotel, and to San Diego to stay at the Glorietta Bay Inn has given her a taste of what it was like to go back in time and enjoy a little piece of history at the same time enjoying the cities too.

She became an AM Resorts specialist taking several classes on all their locations and has traveled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and the Bahammas. She is also a Carnival Cruise graduate and has taken four Carnival Cruises.She has also helped several customers to go to Europe taking classes with Globus tours and becoming a Globus/Cosmos specialisit.
